How to Properly Burn Your Incense:
1. Hold by the end of the stick or place in incense holder (NOTE: JUMBO STICKS WILL NOT STAND IN STANDARD HOLDERS) Keep it steady while angling the stick upwards. 

2. Light the incense with a match or lighter holding the stick in the flame until incense takes light and a flame is visible. 

3. Allow the flame to burn for a few seconds, then gently fan or blow out the flame.

4. Check the incense tip for ember and smoke. If smoke is visible and strong, then your incense is lit. If not, relight the stick, allow to burn a little longer, then gently fan or blow out the flame. 

5. If holding, place stick in a safe holder and away from flammable things such as drapery. Make sure incense is properly positioned over the ash pot so that it may be properly collected.
